Green Tourmaline / Tektite

I recently received a question from a customer about the difference between Green Tourmaline chips that are all one color, and our Green Tourmaline/Tektite necklaces that are in rondel form.

As I mentioned on the Green Tourmaline page of this shopping cart, when you give a person Green Tourmaline that is all one color, he has only that one color frequency to draw from. Give him a necklace with a spectrum of Green Tourmaline color and he can draw from any color frequency along that spectrum as needed.

This is very beneficial because our energetic needs are always shifting, depending on what we are doing and what physical, emotional, memory, or mental resources we are drawing from. A spectrum of Green Tourmaline feeds and strengthens all, even if needs change moment by moment.

High quality rondels are more precious than chips, no matter the gemstone, and therefore naturally tend to have a higher price per carat. Because of their shape, chips radiate their energies in a way that is somewhat erratic. Each random edge of the chip broadcasts its energy along one direction.
